Ace Lightning

http://www.emuparadise.me/GBA/boxart/0680.jpg
Developer : Tiertex Design Studios
Publisher : BBC Multimedia
Genre : Action
Platform : Game Boy Advance
Release date : 25 October 2002

Description
The video games follow the same storyline, although the Game Boy Advance adaption follows the television show's story more closely, involving the characters who are from a video game appearing on Earth, and Ace ventures into the Carnival of Doom to find the pieces of the Amulet and defeat Lord Fear, eventually sending the villains back to the Sixth Dimension, the homeworld of the characters.

In the PC and PlayStation 2, the game's plot follows a more detailed plot different from the television show's, but more similar to that of the show's in-universe game. All of the games' cutscenes are shown in the style of a comic strip with speech bubbles. A prologue at the start of the game describes Lord Fear escaping from prison in the Sixth Dimension and stealing the Amulet, but is stopped by Ace and the following fight results in the shattering of the Amulet. Both individuals find a single piece of the Amulet and take there fight to the Carnival of Doom. Ace collects the Amulet pieces scattered around the carnival's nightmarish attractions, fighting such villains as Googler, Lady Illusion, Dirty Rat and his own friend Random Virus who suffers from multiple personality disorder and has two personalities, one good and one evil. Ace eventually confronts Lord Fear in the Haunted House, defeating him and his minions before sending them back to prison using the restored Amulet.
Ace's ally Sparx, has a relatively minor role in the games. She appears briefly in the Gameboy adaptation as part of a tag-team boss battle against Lady Illusion, and only appears in the cutscenes in the 3D games. It has been shown that she is playable in the television show, which uses footage from the videos games.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

http://www.porink.com/bloggy/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Kingdom-Hearts-Chain-of-Memories-Cover.jpg

Developer : Jupiter Corporation
Publisher : Square Enix
Genre : Role-Playing
Platform : GBA
Release date : 7 December 2004

Description
What made the original Kingdom Hearts for the PlayStation 2 so endearing was not so much its action gameplay, but more the fascinating world it created using Final Fantasy and Disney characters. In a lot of ways, the same can be said for Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. While the real-time card-battling system has its issues and the exploration elements cross a lot of familiar ground, Chain of Memories still creates an interesting place where Disney worlds and Final Fantasy cameo appearances work together well. This game is clearly aimed at hooking existing fans of the developing Kingdom Hearts series, and those fans will get the most value out of Chain of Memories.

Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land

Developer : HAL Labs
Publisher : Nitendo
Genre : Action
Platform : GBA
Release date : 25 October 2002

Description
Nintendo's run of nostalgic remakes continues with Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. It's actually a revamp of the 1993 NES game Kirby's Adventure. The graphics have been brought up to modern standards, and the gameplay and level designs are intact with minor alterations, the majority of which are positive. As Kirby, you are a cute, floating puffball who can inhale and absorb his enemies' abilities. The game itself plays much like an installment in the Super Mario Bros. series, except that Kirby can fly and the difficulty isn't nearly as serious.

Donkey Kong Country 2

http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B000238EJ4.03.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

Developer : Rare Ltd.
Publisher : Nitendo
Genre : Action
Platform : GBA
Release date : 25 June 2004

Description
There's no question that Donkey Kong Country 2 improves upon its predecessor in numerous ways. Diddy and his new partner, Dixie, have a few new abilities, including a team-up attack, which give players so much more to do. There are minigames all over the place that provide frequent breaks from the regular run-and-jump levels, and the graphics and music are richer and livelier than they were in the first Donkey Kong Country. One so-called improvement, however, may turn just as many people off of this latest DKC game as are turned on by it, and that's the game's tough-as-nails degree of difficulty.

Dark Arena

http://www.romaccess.com/images/boxart/gba/32579_1307174689.jpg

Developer : Graphic State
Publisher : Majesco Games
Genre : Action
Platform : GBA
Release date : 18 January 2002

Description
Dark Arena was the first FPS to be announced for the Game Boy Advance, but it wasn't even close to being the first one released. And while its level of quality is comparable to that of its contemporaries, it's by no means the novelty it was when prior to its release. The game's sprite-based engine (think Doom and Wolfenstein 3D) facilitates the sort of gameplay you've come to associate with classic PC shooters, and if you haven't already experienced it on the handheld, seeing it happen on your GBA screen is pretty neat. If you've never played this sort of game and you're used to more modern stuff, prepare for a scaled-back experience--since the game's engine is essentially tricking you into thinking it's rendering everything in 3D, you aren't going to be able to move like you do in games such as GoldenEye and Halo. Your aim rests on a fixed axis, so you can essentially shoot things only directly in front of you. The actual mission design is similarly scaled back; it all revolves around running, shooting, and unlocking doors with their respective keys. It's all very simple, and you can argue that this is suited to the platform. But with all the complex stuff being released for the GBA these days, it's becoming a little harder to swallow.

GT Advance 3: Pro Concept Racing

Developer : MTO
Publisher : THQ
Genre : Driving
Platform : GBA
Release date : 23 May 2003

Description
The first two GT Advance games are widely regarded as the best racing games available for the Game Boy Advance, and THQ is hoping that lightning will strike a third time with its latest sequel, GT Advance 3: Pro Concept Racing. If you're familiar with the two previous releases, you'll recall that the first game, GT Advance: Championship Racing, was a realistic racer done in the style of the Gran Turismo series, while the second game, GT Advance 2: Rally Racing, took the action into the dirt and snow for a bit of off-road racing. Conceptually, GT Advance 3 is a combination of the two. The courses are paved and the vehicles are all city models, but car handling is slipperier than it was in the first GT Advance--meaning that lengthy drifts and fishtail slides are now integral to successful race strategy.
